Rescuing Games From Asia
After 4 confirmations from Topway that they "will ship immediately", we have given up on them. We have managed to locate their warehouse and we will send a truck to take back our games immediately. My friend in China has recommended a different fulfillment company to ship the remaining 36 orders to Asia/Other regions (HK, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, etc).
Once the games are retrieved, I will update Asia backers on the new shipping schedule with the new company.
I'm super disappointed by Topway and how this situation played out. We've had to chase them on an almost daily basis, even assigning a friend in Beijing to get involved. We've done business in Shenzhen for almost 6 years and this is the first situation that we've had like this. Plus the timing of these complications was unfortunate, as our team has been finalizing details on our newest Kickstarter launch for Galactic Coliseum.
I apologize to the patient backers in the Topway regions. Thanks for understanding. Your kind messages were very appreciated. I will continue to keep you in the loop as we rescue your games and send them to your homes. Everything is now under control.

Gamesquest delivery of the reprinted add-on packs

Good news for Gamesquest UK! Your add-ons will arrive earlier then previously expected. Add-ons have been reprinted, express shipped, and arrived this morning at Gamesquest. They completed an inventory count and there were no lost add-ons this round! Yay! They have also confirmed that their staff are available to immediately start shipping the add-ons tomorrow.

Galactic Coliseum... coming soooooon
New game. I wanna get your thoughts and hopefully some of your much-appreciated support.
This new baby is called Galactic Coliseum. With sci-fi miniatures and artwork from Manthos Lappas and Simon Dubuc, Galactic Coliseum is a fast-paced strategy game that puts 2-4 competitors in an expanding gauntlet of monstrous enemies. Set in a dystonian bloodsport arena, Galactic Coliseum is easy-to-learn, lasts 30-60 minutes, and combines detailed minis, epic art, and deterministic Eurogame mechanics like
resource management, area control, network building, and variable player powers.
If I were you, I'd be asking, "What is this game about???" For this, I am showing you something not yet released. So DO NOT share it. It's just a peek at an unreleased preview.

Unresponsive Fulfillment for Asia/Other Regions
We are having a nightmare experience dealing with Topway for fulfillment of Asia/Other Regions. We have even assigned our factory in China to chase down Topway Freight to get answers. We are told that the Mid-Autumn Festival caused delays. Yesterday, after many attempts to get more info on the delay, Topway simply sent me this short message: "We will check the detailed prep requirement, then we will ship them out one by one."
I'm very disappointed that backers in these regions are being made to wait. I am truly sorry. It has been a hard battle getting this shipping company to cooperate. We will get to the bottom of this. And I assure you that every backer will get their game. If you have further questions, please send me a personal message on Kickstarter.
And I thought it would be so easy.
Add-On Updates for Gamesquest UK
Our factory is working on the new batch for the lost $3 add-ons (Blank Action, Blank Defender, Varcolac, Spirit Of A Hero, Dragon Crusade, Against All Odds, Wandering Sword). Those cards will be immediately shipped to Gamesquest UK for them to send to customers waiting for add-ons. They estimate that they will be done production in 13 days.

The magic of making 600 items disappear
Checked my email a few days back and heard from Gamesquest UK that their entire add-on carton was missing. After 2 days of hunting and inquiry, I believe these add-on packs have fallen into the void. MIA.
I'm pretty upset by this.
These are the Gamesquest countries: GB, BE, BG, DK, ES, FR, IE, IT, NL, NO, PT
To start off, let me say that I'm sorry to the 117 Gamesquest people who asked for add-ons but will not get them until later. In the meantime, all Gamesquest shipments will immediately receive games without their add-ons. Gamesquest has told us that all 250 orders will be ready to ship by Monday. BUT the add-ons will be sent afterward (my factory will reprint them immediately). It may require 2 months or more before your add-ons arrive, but I will definitely get them to these 117 people once they are reprinted.
A game of whodunnit
The factory claims they sent the add-ons and attached this photo of the UK pallet being shipped with add-ons in the top box.
The warehouse in the UK claims that when they received and unpacked the pallet, there was no add-on box. Gamesquest assures me that they turned their warehouse upsidedown to find the box, but to no avail.
The factory has suggested that the shipper, Topway Freight, may have moved the box during transit to allow for better storage, but then forgot to put it back. I'm now waiting for Topway (less responsive than usual) to see if the box is anywhere to be found. Additionally, I'm making an insurance claim on the 600 lost add-on packs.
So the question is: Who screwed up? I really don't know. Every suspect denies being responsible. The 600 games have simply disappeared. The only good news is that all backers will still get their core game levels immediately, but need to wait a bit for the extra stuff.
