There are some great games coming out in 2016 and it feels pretty cool to be on the list with them. Personally, I'm really excited that we are ranked #7 among the new Fantasy games coming out this year!
We are grateful for the continued support of backers like you. As promised, because we made the Top 20, a new Stretch Goal was unlocked and we are including new cards (Orc Chief Invader & Possessed Event) in every copy of the game.
A special shout-out to The Cardboard Cafe for being awesome and letting me host an event last week to play Draconis Invasion all night. I even met one of my Kickstarter backers, Kelly, and she got an exclusive playtest of the game. She and her friend, Kyla, kept playing Draconis Invasion for the entire 6 hrs straight. So hardcore!
This week I will create the updated Defenders, Campaigns, Events, and Invaders with the revised card templates. Progress is going well and I'll be showing everyone the new cards very very soon :)

Cardboard Café Game Night
We'll be at Cardboard Café on Saturday evening (Jan 23rd: 6:30pm til close) playing updated copies of Draconis Invasion and some other fun games I'm developing. We'll have some great giveaways, so if you happen to live near London ON, come say hello and let's play.
Campaign Cards
Josh's recent update for the Campaigns has returned them to the square shape. Now they are consistent with the other cards that you keep throughout the game for points.
Updated card size: Many of you will be very pleased to know that I've modified the size of the square cards (Invaders and Campaigns) to a more standard 80 x 80mm. Why is this good news? Well, this new size will fit Mayday card sleeves. That means, all the cards for this game can now be sleeved!
Coercion Sci-Fi Game
I am working on a new tabletop game project that I'll launch later this year, currently codenamed "Coercion". Here is a special early glimpse. Once again, I've been blessed to have Manthos Lappas behind the illustrations. His unique art style will be showcased in this fast-moving game of intrigue and deception.

Design Progress
Our layout designer, Josh Derksen, has done a great job with the revised cards. He's modified the gold cards (more changes to come) and created a more distinct color contrast between the card types. Updates to Invader and Campaign cards coming soon.
Testing New Cards
Some sample cards with new designs arrived in the mail last week. It's nice having the revised icons and artwork layouts to play with. I've been testing them out with friends and the response has been wonderful.
